Exceptional Records are back with another helping of innovative and exciting electronic music. Our latest mix kicks off with a cut from Audioglider's latest EP. Remix competition winner Kultrun takes the track on an underwater journey with smooth rhythmic percussion, mysterious Morse Code bleeps and environmental sounds that bubble up from the depths.
Other highlights include: electro-indie collective Black Diamond Bay with an exclusive cut from their upcoming album, the mysterious and brooding "The Levels". Catch them at Club NME in Camden on March 25th. The enigmatic Throwing Snow on remix duties for Cloud's cosmic "Strings", following up his reworkings for the likes of Gold Panda, Greymatter, and KidKanevil. And brand new exceptional signings Submotion Orchestra, who have been rapidly building a significant reputation as one of the most intriguing ensembles to surface in the last 12 months. Their organic blend of melodious dubstep has gained support from Gilles Peterson - here they're remixed by Jack Sparrow, who sets aside his own more crunchy persona to deliver a track of great depth and beauty.
